I've seen people attempting to use sous vide cooking appliances to heat their HLT water with a HERMS setup, but frequently comment that it isn't powerful enough to perform a stepped mash. I was curious if you just used two of them, would that make up for their lack in power alone and allow for temperature increases greater than 1 degree a minute?
