I made the AHS Promotional Hop Bomb recipe. It calls for dry hopping in secondary. I did this and transferred it to the keg. However, due to my inexperience with dry hopping, I got a lot of hop bits in the keg. Any tips on what to do to remedy this? It is already kegged and carbed.

Try some some brewer's gelatin. It will get all the leftovers to the bottom of the keg in week or so and concentrate in the first pint or two. After that it should be pretty clear.

Not sure about the others as I have only used gelatin, but it works well and it is very cheap. About $1.50 worth will do several batches.

I had a similar issue with a Stone Ruination clone a couple of months back. Hop pellet debris clogged a poppet, so I depressurized the keg and removed the post to clean everything out. Fortunately, most of the hop debris cleared itself within the first few pints and ale flowed freely thereafter.

also it doesnt have to be "brewers" gelatin. I use knox whenever i run out. works like magic :) after 48 hrs the first pour will be full of junk then crystal clear beer for he rest of the keg...

actually i use a pack...it seems like a lot but has worked flawless for many a brew...I think its overkill but a box has 4 packs for 1.50 and the beer comes out crystal clean.

I boil water and then cool to 170ish and add the pack of gelatin. stir and add to keg after its been cold for at least 48hrs. this way it removes the chill haze as well. If you add it before chilling it works but the chill haze will still form.

hope this helps...
