Hello! I have a beer kit that is on the way, I have wanted to make my own beer for a very long time and finally pulled the trigger on a basic setup. A little about me, I have been honored to serve active duty Military for the past 15 years and still going strong. I enjoy a good beer when I do get downtime and would love nothing more to drink beer made by my own hand. Currently we are stationed in sunny Hawaii (I mean some of us have to live in the suck right ;P) My wife and three boys put up with going to the beach regularly while I am stuffed in an office regularly. Aside from my new adventure in brewing, I am a seasoned woodworker and avid swordsman (Japanese Iaido). I look forward to learning from the experts here. Cheers!

Hawaii is a cultural mixing ground where you should be able to get a lot of exotic fruit, for wine making, that aren't found in the rest of the world.
