Alright so i decided to bottle my first beer today. Well I calculated how much sugar I would need, wrote it down, took a gravity reading, wrote it down, sanitized everything, and then transferred my beer to the bottling bucket. Well I began bottling my first beer when all sudden I realized I never added the priming sugar to the bottling bucket! So I poured that bottle out. Everything went well after that though. I made an american wheat. OG was 1.049 and FG was 1.005 so I think that gives me an abv of around 5.5%
I'm pretty excited to taste it in 3 weeks when its done bottle conditioning.
I ended up with 6 bombers and 42 bottles

Hey, we've heard stories here of people completely forgetting to add priming sugar, until after they open and bottle and wonder why it isn't carbonated! No worries, Pop, and congratulations on your first brew!
