So I put this together last week for my last extract brew, I used all the leftover ingredients I had laying around, hence the honey and I have several lbs of liberty hops. I added the .25 DME because it's all I had to make a starter with for my California ale yeast. Anyway I plan on dry hoping when it hits the keg and was just seeking opinion on where to start. An oz at a time? How long do I leave it in? I know it's a screwy recipe but it was practically free and I had nothing to loose so....

What are liberty hops like?

Liberty - Domestic - Finishing

Released in 1991, this aroma variety has very close similarities to the imported German aroma varieties. It ranks very close in comparison to Hallertauer Mittlefruh. It has been evaluated worldwide and has received very good feedback from both U.S. and German brewers. The result of a cross between the colchicine induced tetrapcoid female cultivar Hallertau mf and a downy mildew resistant male, USDA 64035M, in 1983. With very low cohumulone levels, and little farnesene in the essential oil. The Alpha Acid range is 3-5%. Liberty is quite similar to Hallertauer but much easier to grow. It is a half-sister to Ultra, Mt. Hood and Crystal. Mainly used for finishing in American and German ales and lagers.
