Hey everyone!
Long time lurker, first time user on these forums
first, just wanted to say thank you to everyone who uses this forum. Rather than joining and asking questions that were already asked and being told to search for it, I've just been reading everything that everyone else has already posted and I've answered all my own questions hehe
because of that, I have been able to design my own new all grain system!
I've designed, but haven't built yet, a 3 in 1 HLT, MLT, BK vessel that uses both electric and gas for heating and boiling. The vessel is a pot within a pot within a pot concept. I know there's the German electric all grain single vessel system (braumeister) so obviously I'm not the first per se... BUT, mine uses less expensive and readily available items to do the same (but slightly differently). Plus, mine is scalable to whatever size pots you use. I've got a Kickstarter to raise some funds to build the prototype and once I do I will be publishing all the details here on the forums. I want to design the next cool thing
I'm not doing this for money obviously though lol. That's what I love about the homebrew revolution and these forums. It's like Linux vs Mac and PC hehe. Open source!! Well, I'll be updating here once the Kickstarter is over and I've built the prototype. If I don't get funded then I'll probably just try it again
I'll keep everyone updated either way ^_^ cheers!!
