Alien Plastic in the Fermenter!

Hi Guys.

This batch is a simple Coopers IPA can with some LME and a hint of dextrose.

I just opened my fermenter to bottle after a month. I got a nasty shock when I saw the plastic lid from the LME floating on the top of the wort!

Will this have damaged the beer?

I saw no sign of infection.

I hope I didn't just waste 20L of beer!

If it taste fine and looks good you most likely have no issue.

I agree. If it looks & smells fine, it probably is.
