Ale Kit Suggestions

I need a suggestion. I had bought a couple Pumpkin Ale kits from Midwest brewing, and i already made the pumpkin, but dont want to repeat. What suggestions do you guys have to add to this kit as a fall beer. Im thinking of fruit? I was thinking of adding apple cider, but did some searching and found that wont work.
Below is what i have for a 5 Gallon kit.

6Lbs Gold LME
8 Oz Carapils
8 Oz Caramel 10L
1oz Mt Hood
1 oz cascade

Otherwise you could brew a simple pale ale with that stuff you have listed.
