Alaskan brew tour

Between hiking and camping and family cookouts I somehow managed to try 18 different alaskan made beers from 5 different breweries.
Alankans seem to really embrace micros, every beer store had a good selection.
The alaskan brewery smoked porter tops my list as most interesting, and a 2007 barley wine from them made it home for some cellaring. I have not tried it just wandering if anyone has. Oh the kids had fun too!!!

Alaskan Smoked Porter is IMO the beer by which all other smoked porters should be defined. Alaskan IPA is good as well.
