So when I was at work tonight my air lock blew off my primary, just brewed it last night. my wife said she heard it around 7 and I got home around 10 and put a cap with a hose into a bucket on it. did I screw up my brew? there was a towel over it so my place is not covered thank god.:rockin::rockin:

You should be fine, it means there was a healthy fermentation which means there was CO2 in there that will keep the oxygen out.

Just clean it up and put it back together, look at using a blowoff tube if its still happening, and for future brews.

Thanks , yeah I put a blow off tube on it . Just don't want to loose any of that delicious brew :drunk: thanks again Fuzze.
