I'm thinking about getting the Austin Homebrew membership to save on shipping/yeast. Anyoe have this? Is it worth it?

I've got a membership, and i think it's already paid for itself after 2 orders. I don't have the capability to store any yeast that I've washed from a pervious batch, so I'm always having to buy new yeast. I believe the membership was 24 dollars and I've already used 2 free shippings and a free yeast pack, which totals about $22.

I've still got 2 more free yeasts and 4 more free shippings, so I'm gonna get moneys worth. Just be warned, you can't but a membership, then use all your free shippings in 6 weeks. They actually spread them out once per month for 6 months.

A good to know about how they space it out. But I mean if you order every month you'll be able to get free shipping and or yeast right?

Yes. Every two months you're allotted a free shipping coupon code and a free shipping plus free yeast coupon code. It comes out to be a 65$ value or something close.

Well worth it for me. I've got one more yeast + shipping to redeem next month.
I'll probably purchase another one for sure.

I need to get a membership sounds like a good deal. I buy 1 to 2 kits with yeast a month so it would save me money. Saving money on shipping and yeast = i can buy more brewing gear = Happy Brewer
