Hello to all. As a newbie, I have gotten addicted to this hobby. Because of that I bought many AHBS Anniversary kits. In anticipation of brewday tomorrow, I started my Belgian yeast in a starter like a good boy. The problem is, I lost my instructions for the Belgian Ale Anniversary kit. I know I have Hallertau and Styrian Golding hops. I know that AHBS uses a template, but I dont know when to add the hops, OG, final etc. Can someone either let me know here or email me the recipie? My addy is [email protected] . Rookie mistake! Thanks.

Well you are in luck, I'm brewed that one last weekend

I started this one last weekend. - Extract assuming you have same

You should have some specialty chrushed grains (mine came in a soaking bag) - give them about 25 mins at 155F

bring to boil add your malt extract

boil
add Hallertau and Styraian Golding (should be all the hops you have)
for 60 mins boil.

Chill and pitch yeast OG is supposed to be 1.052 (mine was 1.046 @75 corrected about 1.047-1.048)

AHBS says primary 5-7 then secondary to clear in 5-7 adding Claro K.C finings after 7 days if you want (so total 14 days.)

FG should be approx 1.012

Bottle.

Good Luck

AC

The recipe seems more straightforward than most. Thanks guys. I was going to call, but was afraid that they may be busy with brewing day activities (if I was an owner of a LBS I would use the day to have events to exposed the unknowing masses of the wonders of homebrewing). Once again thanks.

Ale done. AHBS promptly responded this morning to the email I seent them last night and sent me a pdf. Thanks to all and AHBS!
