I have a wheat ale, added dry hops 7 days after pitching yeast. Fermentation was well past completed. I then added my dry hops for another 7 days. At this point i would usually keg the beer. However, I have no kegs available so I am going to let the beer sit in primary for another week or two, while I kick my beer drinking into high gear to make some empties, and then keg. I will report back as to what happens to the beer. I can think of a few scenerios.

#1 (most likely), after another week or two of primary the beer is clean, clear and the dry hop yields great aroma

#2 somewhat faded hop flavor and aroma

#3, Why did I dry hop at all, its gone!

Thoughts?

I would guess number 1 with a hint of number 2. I usually base my dry hopping schedule around when I can keg and work backwards from that
