With the rain we've had lately, it looks like we're going to have a plentiful crop of Agarita berries. I've never used them for jelly or wine, but got interested last year talking to a co-worker. I didn't even know what they were, but now I see 'em everywhere. I found a couple recipes here, but was curious what homebrewtalk had to say. I didn't see any recipes in the db and came up with nothing when I googled "agarita site:homebrewtalk.com".

I came across this thread about making cider with pomegranate juice a while back and thought maybe I could do something similar with the agarita berries. Ed's apfelwein has also been on the list for a while, but I still haven't gotten around to trying it.

I've never made wine before, but I've got 6 batches of beer (4 all grain) under my belt and I'd like to give it a try.

Anybody have any recommendations or experience with agarita wine?
