Hey guys, I started two coopers kits about a month ago. I had the temperature fairly consistent at around 65-68. However On the weekend the temperature dropped and my block heater started pumping out too much heat. It must have be 74-76 in the room for about 12 hours :(

Will I be tasting really hard off tastes with these batches? Or will it be somewhat okay because it was already about 3 weeks in when this happened?

Feeling not great about it :(

I'd think after 3 weeks, the yeast was pretty much all done and you shouldn't have much of an impact, if any. Had you been taking gravity readings up until then? Were you already at your FG before the heat kicked up?

If so, I don't think I'd be too worried...

Nope, not if the temp change happened after your active fermentations were done. Nothing to worry about.
That's a great bottle conditioning temp, actually.

the temp in my room changes from about 68 to 74 and my fermenter usually stays right around 70

+1 on this, you will be fine. Yeast create most of their flavor compounds (good and bad) during the first few days of fermentation. By 3 weeks in they are good and done.

If anything, you may have cleaner beer for it. What you've basically done is a Diacetyl rest.
