How long should i let my wine set before drinking? Iv heard about people leaving it in airlock for awhile, what does this do for it? I made wine out of coconut juice.

You can drink anytime you choose. It usually isn't drinkable until about a month after fermentation ends. It takes time for the flavors to mellow out and work together. Don't rush it. Put your wine away and sample after a few months.

if you have enough carboys handy you can bulk age the wine, i only have two carboys so i just use them for clearing. I bottle age all my wine and actually i cant really say that it ever really gets aged much because most of my wine is drinkable young and its way cheaper to drink your homebrew young then too go too the store and buy alcohol. obviously it is better to age it but i dont have a big enough operation to put wine away for half a year.
