Its been awhile since I made a home brew, and I am not sure I aerated my brew enough for fermentation. I forgot to mix the wort back n forth a few times. The only aeration that took place was the adding of water to make 5 gallons. Will this be enough for the yeast to properly ferment? Is there anything I can do or should I just let it be?

RDWHAHB.

If you just pitched, feel free to shake the hell out of it, that will get you going in the right direction.

If we're talking about something that happened a couple of days ago, the die has already been cast.

I pitched the yeast on Sunday, so does that mean the beer is a no good or can it be saved during the 2nd stage fermentation? Suggestions...

2nd stage fermentation is not where it is going to be saved. Did you you dry yeast? The manufacturers of dry yeast claim that you do not even need to aerate your wort before pitching. I've done this a few times with minimal problems but I always at least try to shake the bucket if I can.

The key now is to keep aeration to the absolute minimum that you can as soon as fermentation gets going.

You should be fine, and you will have beer!

Your beer will be fine. At this point, what's done is done. If you remember to aerate next time you will have a better quality product.

No worries.

I brewed up a Sierra Nevada clone and used the White Lab yeast, so ill just let it go n see what comes of it I guess. Thanks for the input
