Hi All,

I've been looking on the net to try and find an answer to the following:

Can I brew with the following: rolled oats and bulgar wheat?

If I can what do I need to do to use it??

My impression is that I need to heat the rolled oats to gelatinize the starch, maybe boil? then mash with base malt.
I dont have the setup to do a multistage mash because of my mashtun size, its single infusion only.

Suggestions please!

rolled oats are gelatanized during the rolling process - the only difference between quick oats and rolled oats is that the quick oats are cut into smaller pieces for quick cooking
