Adding Heat to Son of a Fermentation Chamber

Hi all!

Built a SoaFC this summer and now that winters hereish my basement isn't getting above 60.

Is there a good way to add heat to my system?

I'm in Florida so my comments don't really count.
I imagine a heating pad on the floor plugged into a temp controller.

Do you think if I just left it on it would get too hot in the fermentation chamber? Or would the heat spread like the cool air does when the fan blows over the ice? I'd use the aquarium stone like ice... would that work?

Combine this with whatever method of heat you go with. I personally use a very small electric heater in my ferm chamber.

I have an STC-1000 that is wired to a standard electrical outlet. One half of the outlet controls the heat, the other controls the cold.

So basically just plug your fridge into one side and the heater into the other side of the outlet.
