I have a batch of cider fermenting currently and I was thinking of adding some raspberries to it. How would I go about adding the fruit to it? Would I wait till I racked to a secondary and how long to I leave the fruit in?
 
Yes add it to the secondary..use frozen so you dont have to sulfite it.let it sit till the berries fall to the bottom..I just did a strawberry lime skeeter pee. I put 4 lbs of frozen berries in the primary than racked it after two weeks onto more frozen berries..you may need to experiment..ive read alot on berries in the primary having the aromatics gassed out from rapid fermentation. .thats why I did two rounds. How will it finish I dont know yet.. I bottled two weeks ago..and its still pretty hott
