Hey all. Long time reader, first time poster.

Just had a question regarding some extra beer I left in my secondary. My keg couldn't fit my final brew volume, but I've since drank enough to create some room. Is it advisable to add the extra beer from my secondary?

Thanks

I always brew "long" batches. The remainder goes in a 2L pop bottle, gets refrigerated and then carbed with a carb cap. Gives me a heads up on how the batch came out while it ages. What's left in your secondary will likely be oxidized. Adding it to your keg will only degrade what's already in there.

^that^ is what I do as well. I fill kegs by weight and try to hit an exact 10 gallons packaged volume per batch.
Anything left goes in a carb bottle...

Cheers!
