Hey all, 3 month lurker, first time poster from Southern MN.
Just getting into brewing after an accidental fermentation mixing up some cocktails.
Just transferred my first batch of hard cider from the primary fermenter this evening, now to hurry up and wait...

Minnesota seems to be the place to be for homebrew so many great homebrewers in and from that area. As I understand it you guys have some of the better brick and mortar homebrew shops.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I am located about 45 minutes West of Rochester.
I have noticed an increace in this area of either full blown retail brew shops or places starting to dedicate a small section of their store for brewing supplies. Makes it awful handy for us rookies when we forget those basic items, lol.

Welcome, from one MN newb to another. You'll find this a great place, with people from all over the world happy to share advice and suggestions, without any condescending attitude to be found. I have been here for a little while now, and even though I still haven't managed to get my brewing up and running yet, I still get great advice from people of what the pro's and con's are of hardware, as well as how to plan it out in a logical progression. So Welcome, and ask away! There is a huge knowledge base of great people to draw upon. :)
