Activated Wyeast but not using it Now what?

I activated a wyeast packet that I won’t be using. Can I safely use it a week later?

Yes. Keep it refrigerated. All "activating" it did was prove there are (or aren't) live yeast in the pack.

oh good and thank you vike. I open \ pop mine very early in the brew. Now it is taking so long to cool down to 60 degrees. just put both paks back in the refrigerator. will pitch tomorrow morning.
