I know it was a big mistake but before I realized it, I thought my wort was a lot cooler when I pitched the yeast but it was actually 95degrees. I was able to get it down to 65degrees in a matter of 5hours. No fermentation or visible activity has started yet, going on hour 16. I was wondering if anyone else has done this and if so what was the outcome. Good or bad?

It has most likely been done before.

Temperature changes can cause quit a bit of stress to the yeast. Lag time to an active fermentation will probably be increased. Don't worry to much, fermentation will begin.

If your pitch rate and oxygenation of the wort was good you will end up with a normal fermentation.
