Access panel on top of enclosure - on bottom?

I don't need a heat sink (gas system), any reason to NOT flip box around so opening normally shown at the top is on the bottom? This will ease cut outs for electrical connectors (easier to drill). Has a gasket, so water tight.

Should work fine, either way..
If you decide to repurpose for Electric, would just need to cut a hole on top..
