(Final-original gravity) x 131= ABV. Right? Well according to Charlie Papazians book "joy of home brewing" the multiplication figure is 105. Which is correct? Online calculators seem to be using the 131 figure.

I have only seen 131 (or, sometimes, 131.25) used... for whatever that is worth.

I'm not sure why Mr. Papazian is using the 105 figure. I'll have to write and ask him.
