Seems a little silly replying to my own thread but what the heck.
I went to the meet and greet and indeed meeted and greeted.
I had the intention of meeting some other homebrewers and homebrew clubs to try and put together a group buy from Briess or somewhere for bulk grains. Didn't meet that many homebrewers and none that where interested in going that big. Oh well. Maybe next time.
I did meet some nice folks that appreciate beer.
Also I think I may be hosting a homebrew session with the local "Babes in Brewland" in June . We are currently discussing a style to brew.
