Hi Im japanese homebrewer,Now im wondering about ratio of cascade and gaxaxy hops.
Is there someone know good method for getting floral aroma ?

I think Galaxy and Cascade are a nice combination. Mixing them up like you have, 50/50 after the bittering addition sounds good to me. I might consider using the Galaxy for the bittering, because of its higher IBUs, but what you have looks just fine to me.

To me, neither Galaxy or Cascade are 'floral', they are more citrus in their aroma.

For floral hop aroma you could do late additions of Crystal and Ahtanum .. maybe even willamette.

I agree with DrK93TT, I am making a cenntennial galaxy and crystal hop pale ale. But not sure how it will turn out since I am playing with hop oil and hop hash on this one. (5 ml centennial hop oil at flame out, 1 oz galaxy and 1 oz crystal hop hash dry hop. ) used 1 oz magnum bittering, and 2 oz of galaxy in the boil.

Pappers: I am new in homebrewing. When you mix late aroma (or dry hoping) hops 50/50 do you get a 50/50 aroma combination? Or does that depend on the amount of oils in the hops? In this example (Galaxy / Cascade) would you have to mix say 20/80 or 30/70 to get the 50/50 aroma combination since Galaxy has a lot more oil content than Cascade?

Thanks
