Hey all, I've been looking around at turkey fryers and have found one on sale for a good deal but only has 32,000 btu's. Will this be sufficient or should I continue the search? I've heard some say that you need 55,000 btu's...

Really depends on how much water you need to boil. If your doing 10 gallon batches 55K is best, if your doing 3 gallons for a 5 gallon batch and then boiling the batch for an hour the 32K is gonna take a bit to get the boil going, but your going to turn it down a bit once the boil is established. So if your planning to go all grain or big batches go with the biggest burner you can reasonably afford and remember you will need three if you build an all grain brew sculpture. Just my .02 FWIW.

Check out the bayou classic sp10. Lots of btu's. And no timer to bypass got mine on amazon

Scored a 60 QT with square burner today at Wally world for 44 bucks. Not too shabby, especially when I got to the register and they took another 20% off cause it was on sale.. Gotta love Wally World.
