This is my fourth batch. First batch was a Mr. Beer, second was a gallon all-grain fiasco. Third was my first creation and now fourth is an all-grain batch I plugged into Beer-Smith and tried to keep the perameters within the recommended specifications. My third batch was a bit too bitter. After I plugged it into Beer Smith the IBU's were 108. I'm only brewing 2 gallon batches at the moment using a Mr. Beer fermenter. This last batch I dropped the hop amount and added a bit more grains. hey didn't have any more caramunich hops but the guy said Cara-Pils/Dextrine was similar. I just finished the batch and my gravity was a bit different than than the recipe called for. Actual pre-boil was 1.045 and the post boil was 1.075. It's a BIAB process. My question is how does this recipe look in general and is it going to be any good? NO CRYSTAL LOL!
