So I decided to start brewing about 2 months ago. As I usually do I decided to go a bit over board and get enought to brew 10 gallon batches insted of one 5 gallon because I wanted to brew 2 differant beers at once. I brewed an Irish red and a belgian wheat.
Now after 6 weeks we decided that we were going to have a "tasting party" to see how everyone liked it. It was a HUGE hit and it ended up being what everyone wanted to drink.
The most common remark that I heard from everyone was that my brew tasted "cleaner and more refreshing" than the normal stuff. Its interesting to remark that the Irish red ended up almost as dark as a porter and was a big hit with my friends that liked guiness and other dark beers. The wheat was huge with the ladies as it was very crisp and light...but still rocking a 6% abv.
I just wanted to give my thanks to the people on this website. I pretty much have comitted the info here to memory and it helped me a ton in the process.
Thanks,
Chris
