I have a cyser... Honey, Brown Sugar, and Apple juice. I just double checked and My Gravity is dead on .990 (Started at 1.098) Clear at the top of the paper in my Hydrometer. Is this possible, or am I stupid? I used Pasteur Champagne Yeast, and the abv would be right at 14%

I have never had a mead ferment that dry, but if that's what it's reading it must be right. One things certain: the mead will need a very long aging period.

Honey and brown sugar are almost completely fermentable, plus you used a champagne yeast, which also usually attenuates fairly completely. I'd say the reading is correct.
