I brewed up 5.5 gallons of wheat a few weeks ago. After reaching 1.010 after a week I transferred 3 gallons into a 3-gallon carboy to have a standard wheat beer (I also wanted to harvest the yeast). The balance of the beer I put in another carboy and racked over mixed berries where it will sit for another week or two. The non-fruit wheat will have been in secondary for 6 days tomorrow. My buddy is coming over to bottle my saison which has been in secondary for 2 weeks and finished at 1.001. My question is - is there any harm in bottling after only a 6-day secondary? I can't fathom there is. LIke I said, when I racked it it was at 1.010 so I'm guessing it's done. I guess I can take another reading today to make sure it's done, but it would just be easier to bottle both the wheat and the saison in the same day.

Yeah, I'll do that. If it's still at 1.010 I guess I'll be good to go tomorrow.
