Yep, he did it wrong. As a runner, he should have opted for the 24 miles. But it sounds as if he did 6 mph, which is not translate to a runner in my books. Then he could have bumped the doughnuts down to 12 and beers to 18. But yeah....idiot.....

You should stop watching the local morning show.

It was local radio, what made it worth listening was that one of the hosts is 20 years sober so he had to figure out how to modify the challenge

As much as I think the challenge is idiotic it made me think.
I am not much of a donut eater but I am also not a runner.
I could run a 12 minute mile, but 12 miles would probably kill me!
I guess there is no combination I could pull off- no pun intended!

I am sure this appeals to the frat-boy types.

I have nothing to prove, so this "challenge" can go **** itself.

:)

I agree this is a young/dumb mans challenge.
But it make me think and then come to the sad conclusion that the only thing I could do at every variable of 6 is drink beer!

In 24 hours? Pretty sure the only thing I couldn't do 6 of would be run miles...

:D

If you run six than the other things have to be done at 12-18 & 24.

Like I said it think it is dumb, but 2 separate people have chronicled this challenge on Twitter , which is baffling to me!

Yeah, I know. I was just saying off the bat, I'd fail, basically. But if I could run 6 miles, I am pretty sure I could get 12 of the one *ahem*, then 18 doughnuts and 24 beers would be relatively easy.

:ban:

The diabetes, now that might get to me later.

I was thinking. 24 miles would be doable, but painful. I could sat two doughnuts during the run for fuel, but more than 4 more would be pushing it. Having a real hard time fitting the other two in.

I read about this challenge a few years ago....they also have one called the triple century, 100 beers, 100 miles, 100 hours.....again idiotic.

Run 24 miles, drink a beer every other mile, plain donut (no glaze/sprinkle/frosting) every 3rd mile and jerk off before the run, A LOT! I might be able to do this if I wasn't drinking beer and planning it.
