That's what I was thinking too. I had the feeling "do it" would be the popular opinion on here.

This is a recipe from my LHBS, so I'll likely do it again if it's good. Part of me says to follow it by the letter the first time. Then, start tweaking it. On the other hand, this will be my new baseline, as I would never throw away hops.
