Very similar, but a stronger dank pineapple aroma...a little maltier...not nearly as biting of a finish. Seems far more disjointed than basic bitch Green.
Relatively subdued aroma with more melon and white grape. Far more resinous and thicc. Super smooth all around…but polyphenolic as hell. Finish is the smoothest of the 3 and actually has some residual malt carrying over.
Delicious! Sour cherry and raspberry up front and strawberry with a little vanilla on the finish.. would make one hell of a drink on a nice summer day. So good!
Took a month off drinking and am still not getting back on the beer train, but had the urge to crack something with dinner tonight and damn this hit the spot.
This is the first cider I've had since my buddy's HS graduation in 97 where he got a half barrel of woodchuck. This is better than that. Also completes a bourbon, beer, and cider night for me. (Well, we'll see. Maybe back to bourbon next.)
Cider courtesy of RyanG in the Secret Santa bif. Thanks!
