So, I haven't brewed in a while and noticed that the stock from my first two batches was running low. *gasp*

It ended up with

- 2 extract tins of John Bull IPA
- 500g of Coopers Brew Enhancer 1
- some crystal malt (100g steeped in 1L overnight)
- 25g of progress hops boiled for 20mins and
- 75g of East Kent Goldings dry hopped

I honestly have no idea what I'm doing but thought I'd just go mental. My first batch was a bit boring, and my second was a strict one where I stayed perfect to a recipe, so I thought I'd just go for it and see what I could get out of my left over ingredients. Yeast was just the stuff that came in the tins. Frankly it's bitter as hell (not surprisingly) but I like bitters and IPA's so I imagine this will be drinkable for me (if not anyone else).

Unfortunately I didn't mix it very well, got a lot of Extract Syrup clumped at the base so I got an OG of 1.038. It's distributed around a bit now though, been a week and there's been a krausen (which has since collapsed) and my SG is 1.028 which makes me think the OG must have been up in the 40s somewhere considering how much activity there's since been.

For something I made up completely as I went along, I think I could have done worse.

Thoughts? :)
