Ok so here are the three questions:

What is the best beer you have had?

What is the worst beer you have had? ( preferably excluding the mass produced domestics)

What experimental beer would you like to try?

1. Chimay Grande Reserve (Blue)

2. Boddington's Pub Ale (though it's tough to not cite those domestics, but you disqualified them).

3. Hmmm... something with cherries, perhaps?

1. Chimay Grand Reserve

2. I've tried a lot of IPAs that I thought were awful.

3. Vanilla white tea pear?

1. Mix beer: 2/3 cold smoke 1/3 blue moon
2. Dogfish Head Palo Santo or Alaskan Smoked Porter
3. Pumpkin Porter brewed inside of pumpkins

1) Tough call between Saison Dupont, Cantillon Iris, Rochefort 10, and Ballast Point Sculpin.

2) Hoegaarden (I've tried it a few times and each time it's been a bad bottle) for non super-macro. But honestly, Steel Reserve.

3) I'd like to try my own open fermented fully wild brew.

1. St. Bernardus abt 12
2. 21st amendment hell or high watermelon
3. Cherrywood smoked kriek

1. New Glarus Alt. Man I wish they'd brew that one again!
2. Besides BMC, I can't remember the name off hand but I know it had smoke in it, and honestly it tasted like a wet camp fire.
3. Catnip Wit

Perfect easy new-guy topic for a first post!

1) Toss-up between Fantome and Duchess de Bourgogne
2) "Cool Colt" the mint flavored malt liquor; I bought several cases on clearance at the local liquor store when I was in college for $3 each or something. . . what a mistake. To this day I have no idea why I bought 'em - I don't even like mint.
3) Smoked and oaked styles besides Schlenkerla or the typical gigantic beers.

As a longtime lurker, thanks for all the helpful information; nice to meet y'all.

1. Patrizier Edel Dunkel - Patrizier Brau (not made anymore)

2. Very Bad Elf - Ridgeway Brewing (It tasted like lawn clippings, now I know what "grassy" means! :cross:

3. A doppelbock recipe of my own design & brewed by me. :ban:
(I can't lager yet, so I've yet to try; which would make it experimental).
Regards, GF.

1.) Cantillon Iris
2.) Samuel Adams Cherry Wheat
3.) Brett Clausenii IPA, Golden Stout, and something fermented with ECY Bug County or Bug Farm.

1. Hopslam, Gulden Draak, or BR Hop Rod Rye

2. Redhook Long Hammer IPA

3. Schlafly Titanium (1 Magnum batch going for 250+)

1) Victory Headwaters, but when it first came out. I swear it's different now. Still good, but not what I remember it being.

2) Sam Adams Triple Bock

3) Homebrewed DIPA with an absurd amount of hops, I'm talking like two pounds for a 5 gallon batch.

I'm a simple guy!

1) SN wet hopped Harvest
2). Moose drool worse ever
3) Alleycat ale clone

1) North Coast Brewing's Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout
2) Some pumpkin ale my neighbor bought for me. It tasted like a watery beer with artifical pumpkin flavor.
3) No idea - I'd like to experiment with a Berliner Weiss.

1) Ellicottville Chocolate Cherry Stout, freshly tapped after a long day of brewing

2) Great Lakes Grassroots Ale. Seriously vile and I love GLB

3) The perfect sour saison

Hard call as it depends on my mood but looking through my beeradvocate scores:

1) Goose Island Bourbon Country Coffee Stout / American Muscle

2) Secret Stache Stout / Squatters Hop Rising Double IPA. If I can go for what is a domestic for me, Redstripe Light Apple (or Ginger) takes bad beer to a new level (although it is rivalled by any redstripe which has been kept badly which isn't uncommon)

3) Willing to try anything but tempted by Turkish Delight Stout (https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f39/turkish-delight-stout-280612/)

1.) Avery Anniversary 17... just saying it gives me goosebumps.

2.) Boulder Beer Single Track... Seriously, wtf is that?

3.) I'd like to see something made or try a beer with truffle oil.

1.) Cigar City Jai Alai IPA

2.)Hitachino Nest Red Rice Ale

3.) I'd like to whip up a Maple Bacon Breakfast Stout/Porter

Rogue double deadguy

Stone arrogant bastard (I recognize it is good quality just didnt suite at all)

I'd like to brew a Marionberry double/strong ale

1) Black Bear Ale (the original, before Bear Brewing was bought out) or Hobgoblin (not fancy but I like it)

2) Red Stripe or Molson Micro, both techically macros but they are awful and taste almost the same. I don't think I could tell the difference in a blind taste test.

3) A Framboise or Kriek, hoping to try some real lambics when in Europe this may.

1) Guiness, Babe's Black fin,
2) Oriwan ( Okinowin beer tastes like formaldihide)
3) Coaconut Porter (I want to make one like Maui Brewing companies) Also I have to try sam adams Utopius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1) knee deep brewing simtra triple ipa. Amazing is an understatement. Its a locally beer here just started being produced. Makes pliny the younger looked like a neutered pale ale. Offensively hoppy =]

2) dog fish head was a sour from them but its.more that I wasn't into sours.at the time. Other option is shipyards imperial pumkin ale.

3) Russian rivers supplication.
