I am looking for some suggestions.
My first is still in the carboy. It's a hefe; kit, unhopped extract.

Looking for some suggestions for my second brew.
Keep in mind, I will most likely have to order online, since there are no LHBS in my town.

Some of my favorite commercial brews.
Widmere, Hefe
Sam Adams, Winter Lager
Rogue, Dead Guy
Guiness Stout
Fat Tire
1554

Thanks for any help.

Maybe a good amber ale, something akin to the Fat Tire (or even Dead Guy)? The good thing about ambers, since they are often slightly malty and reasonably well balanced beers, is that if something goes wrong (and you end up with mild underattenuation, overhopping, whatever), it usually turns out a good beer anyway. It might not be exactly what you had planned, but because you start off balanced, any change from the recipe still gives a fairly balanced beer.
