today I did my second 1 gal batch. It was a SMaSH. 2 lbs pale 2 row with Fuggal Hops. I think it went well. I got my strike water to temp, added my grains, was only a few degrees off ( estimate was 157 I hit 157.4)Threw my pot in the oven. An hour later temp was at 149.7 ( started at 152! Estimate was 153) my SG was higher than expected, but my OG came in at point. Pitched at 68 degrees F. S-04 yeast.
Receipe was 2 lbs American pale 2 row, .2 oz Fuggle at 60,15, and at 5.

Sorry for the ramble, no real questions, just excitement.

Just curious what kind of OG you get with that grain bill?
I did a 3lb grain bill with a total of 2gallons of water,1.5 for mash and .5 gallons to wash the grains. I hit like 90%, so my session IPA turned into a normal IPA

. My OG from my 2 lb of 2 row came out to 1055. I stired the grains at the 30 min mark, I did not do a wash(spare) but I did do a light push(squeeze) on the grain bag while they were in the cauldron.
