230V Earth Leakage Protector

Currently in the process of researching an electric SSR controller. Would a 230v earth leakage protection breaker work on 240v? http://r.ebay.com/of55Gz

An "earth leakage protection breaker" is not a substitute for a GFCI. The earth leakage breakers are rated to trip at a max of 30ma vs. the 6ma max for a GFCI. 6ma will give you a mild shock, but 30ma can hurt or kill you (in a worst case scenario.) Also, the earth leakage devices are designed for use in European single phase 230V systems, not in US 240V split phase systems. If you are in the US, get a proper GFCI for our electrical system.
