I just finished my dissertation on optimal fuel saving routes and driving techniques while following delivery vehicles. Professor JEG barely touched on it in the 400 level class.

He was busy prepping for his next class on how to buy thousands of dollars worth of beer online and give it glowing reviews by saying it's better than an extremely sought after beer to increase trade value.

I really hope someone local to Chicago runs a Black Friday LIF with questions like:

-when will the first person line up at Binny's LP?
-how many people will be in line when they open?
-how many mules will JEG have in line?

and so on.

Considering leaving a bottle of Dave hidden somewhere in Chicagoland on Black Friday morning as part of a scavenger hunt to drive people away from the events.

Downside: New Money will offer me Rare 2.0 for Dave 1:1.

Still didn't work. :(

Somebody wanna give us the gist?
“For about 100 people planning to get their hands on Goose Island’s coveted Rare Bourbon County Brand Stout next month, the beer will remain a bit rarer than they’d hoped.

Goose Island said Thursday that someone who won the lottery to acquire one of the craft beer industry’s most sought-after releases shared a web link on social media that allowed about 100 extra people to buy tickets for Goose’s inaugural Rare Day event on Nov. 13.

The brewery said those people will be refunded their money, and their tickets will be voided. The link was live for about five hours Wednesday before Goose Island discovered the unauthorized purchases, Goose Island spokeswoman Megan Lagesse said.

Lagesse said a person who won the lottery shared a winning URL on the BeerAdvocate and Facebook websites; the brewery will match names of ticket holders to actual lottery winners to determine which tickets will be voided. People whose tickets will be voided, and money refunded, will be informed Thursday, Lagesse said.

Winning the lottery allowed a person to buy a $40 ticket for Rare Day, as well as the chance to buy three $60 bottles of Rare, an imperial stout aged for two years in 35-year-old bourbon barrels that is a member of the brewery’s renowned Bourbon County series.”

Is every bottle normal BCBS going to be in this tin can thing? Good, I wanted to pay over $10 for a 10 jillion bottle count beer.

I'm sold if Prop comes in a bag of vanilla beans or a coconut or some Durian

Well, the stated intent to target more spirits drinkers is certainly baked into that packaging. Good lord.

Good job, they ******* ruined it. This seals it in my mind. Special packaging for Regular BCBS.

Say anything you want, this whole thing is now dumb. Dumb. Dumb. Dumb. I don't care if this marketing is only adding $2-$3/bottle broken down to the oz.

Not even gonna bother this year. All you neckbeards can have this ****.

I'll put every bottle I would've bought into 6/packs of local beer and get it on tap if I want it.

**** you you Belgian-South African **** sons of *******. Enough is enough.
