I just want to know what sort of box it's going to come in.

TL;DR: Rare not the winner.
So stop signing up for the lottery please.

All in all, this mostly fit with what I'm expecting. Prop as "interesting" seems about as fitting a description as I could have imagined. Given that I was a big fan of the Cherry Cocoa BA Dark Lord, the description of Regal Rye has me interested, as well.

Some versions of BCBS need to age a bit, but this is ready to drink, whether on its own or beside a weighty dish that's not too fussy (like, say, a steak).

Maybe it's something that really has to be tried before being judged, but drinking a Bourbon County Stout with a steak does not sound appetizing at all.

I've tried it before with a ribeye, and I'm not a fan. Flavors don't really complement each other at all, personally.

Later he's also talking about pairing BCBBW with a hamburger and going on about the sweet/savory combo. I mean, sweet/savory obviously works, but it has to be executed in the right way.

You people are ******* insane: there's no better pairing for a big BA stout than a well-prepared piece of beef. I'll usually pull a BCBS out in early spring for the first grilling day of the year. And last Christmas I made a killer rib roast that was complimented perfectly with a Rare DOS.

Sure there is. They call it red wine. Preferably a cab-bro-net.

First grilling day of the year? January 1st, right?

Dessert with stouts tastes way better

Revolution puts their beer in boxes

everybody loves Revolution

Same with Firestone. Heck, so does Widmer (only no one loves them). Personally I don't mind the usual style of cardboard. boxes at all if that's the route they want to go. It's the ******* wooden box for Rare that's just too much.

Jesus... that Tribune link reads like a BA post.

i dunno. it's a box. it could come in a Nalgene shaped like a dildo, i'm guessing it would still taste the same.

would Michael be more or less smug if Jerry wasn't attached to the lie detector? the same. Michael would maintain the same smugness.
