I'm planning on brewing this later this week, any opinions?:fro:

I think both the honey and biscuit malts are high; I'd take each down to about half of what they are. Otherwise, it looks delicious to me.

+1. I would do the same with the honey and biscuit. Also, why Chinook in a Belgian Strong? 2oz of a high alpha hop like that seems like a lot of IBUs for a belgian, without doing the math.

my recipes still need some work with the hops. I'm still trying to figure out the right amount of aroma and bitterness E get from certain hops. Never used them before and was just going to experiment some. This doesn't have to stay in any certain guidelines, I'm just trying to get the best beer I can, using the Belgian tradition of brewing. I will do some more reaserch on chinook, and make my decision from there. Thanks.

I decided that I will use only one once chinook @ 60 and see were that leaves me in my overall beer. It's a little to late for the grain bill though as i've already mixed the amounts together. This is my first belgian so I'm just going to have fun with it. brewing tomorow!!
Peace, Zion Brewing:fro:
