u got it! thought using the BA guidelines would be a nice change

I hear ya. In the guess the style game, I tended to go with styles not defined by the BJCP.

Got one.

Equipment? Thats usually ur favorite lol

Yes, equipment. I've done ingredients too, though.

This one will probably be difficult ;)

Something you need to know about emjay is he is a chronic winner and forgetter. He wins, then forgets, win/forgets. See how that works? Give him another 45 minutes and then someone else post a new one.

Sorry, just been crazy busy. And you only left one question!

But yes, it measures.

Its made of metal
Is sometimes used on brew day
Does not come into contact with wort/beer
It measures
It does not measure temp or weight

Does it measure volume?

Is it commonly used by homebrewers?

Depends on your definition of common. Less than half of brewers definitely use it, but I know quite a few who do.

Altimeter
Not even counting this guess due to:

a) sheer absurdity, plus...
b) the fact that the vast majority of altimeters (and any that are remotely affordable) measure atmospheric PRESSURE, when I already stated that the item in question DOES NOT measure pressure.

Does it measure PH?

I'll beat emjay to this one....

No because I already guessed "does it measure concentration" and pH is a measure of the logarithmic concentration of H+ ions.

EDIT: And for the record, altimeter isn't a ridiculous guess. What if you want to know what altitude you're at so you know at what temp your wort will boil? ;)
