I spotted this at Ikea today--the Broder Heavy-Duty Shelving System. The shelf tops are expanded galvanized steel

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/S09871452

It braces to a wall and has an "L" foot for additional support at the bottom. You can choose from several different shelf sizes (lengths and depths). The one that I'd use would be the 31"x23.5" (154 lb max) for a HLT and the 46.75"x23.5" (220 lb max) for the MT and BK. 3 uprights, 2 shelves, total.

Trying to figure out if it'll hold all of the weight for a AG system. I'll also have bayou burners on each shelf along with the keggles, doing 15 gal batches.

Any thoughts on whether this shelving system will do what i need?

Thanks!

go to home depot! they the all metal restraunt style storage shelves. i bought an all black one that is about 6x3x1 1/2. it has five shelves that are fully adjustable and cost around 70$. they have larger and smaller one too! personally i would trust these alot more then the one in your link.

Thanks for responding! I guess i could go that route. Just really been trying to avoid anything with uprights on the front side--things to have to maneuver around.

Let's talk about weight; what's the biggest (heaviest) grain bill that I need to design a system for (15 gal batches)? I'm estimating 35 lbs each for a converted keg. I'm guessing the burners are 25 lbs each. ...plus the weight of the liquid. If i have the MLT and burner plus BK and burner all on one shelf, will i surpass 220 lbs?
