Hi,
I have 2 sankey kegs with ball valve and a pump. Both are 50 liters (13 gallons). I would like to do a setup that yields the max volume posible using BIAB. Im thinking of a low gravity simple pale ale.
In my head ill place a bag full of grain and a bit of water in a "lower level" keg that will be heated (propone), then use the pump to raise it to the "higher level" second keg with just water and by gravity poor it back into the lower keg and keep recirculating during mash. is there a better way to mash in this scenario?
For boiling im really confused cause i only have a burner and im not sure if i can boil half the wort and add it to the fermenter (1 hour boil) and after the second boil add it to the same fermenter. Would this work or should i buy a second burner? Maybe the solution is ferment in two vessels?
If someone has a setup like mine (2 sankey kegs) what batch size should i expect? Ill love to be able to fill 4 corny kegs in a single cook.
Thanks in advance for any help
