I'm planning on brewing an all Chinook IPA tomorrow and the recipe calls for "Rahr 2-Row Pale." My local brew shop didn't have it so he gave me U.S. 2-Row Pilsen. Is this going to make a major impact on my beer? I'm can run back and try to switch it out but if it's not going to make a notice impact I'll just keep it.

The distinctive "pilsen" flavor is very delicate. With an IPA, you probably won't notice too much. What other malts are you using?

U.S. 2-Row Pilsen (Breiss) - 1.4 - 1.7 L
U.S. (Breiss) Carapils (dextrine) 1.5L
U.S. Carmamel (crystal) 120L

I'm basing it off of Northern Brewer's Chinook IPA

You'd want to increase your boil to 90 minutes to drive off DMS from the lighter kilned pilsner malt.
