I brewed a 2 gal doppelbock kit from homebrewers.org, og 1.077/fg 1.012/abv 8.4%. I bottled it two months ago with the supplied bottling tablets, it still has no carbonation and tastes very sweet.

The last month I have been flipping the bottles over every week and some of them I opened and sprinkled in some Nottingham dry yeast and re-capped them. Nothing has helped thus far.

I store them in my basement which stays around 72 deg.

The yeast supplied in the brew kit was safe-ale us-05.

Where do I go from here?

For doppelbock bocks you have to lager them for 3 months (in a refrigerator) 72 is too high for bocks

No, you have a Safale US-05, which is like you said an ale, 72 is fine. Maybe a little high, but that will not stop it from carbonating. Two things :

1) Did you put fermentable sugars prior to bottling (dextrose, not lactose)

2) You're yeast could be expired...

I used the bottling tablets that came with the kit. One tablet per 16 oz bottle for priming, were the instructions. When I bought this kit I also bought another 2 gal kit at the same time for a pilsner which came with the same tablets and that beer carbed just fine.

The Nottingham yeast I added to the bottles was in date.
