So tonight was my first night of ever using a keg. As i've seen in video's online you can force carbonate in like 15 min by turning the PSI up to 30 and rolling the cold keg back and forth on the ground for like 15 min. So I thought I would give it a try... (i'm really excited to try this whole keg thing out) well that was like 3 hours ago and I've since tired to pour a beer with the pressure dropped down to about 10psi. and all i'm getting is foam. do I need to wait longer? should I just keep a constant pressure on it and let it sit in the fridge all night to settle? or am I stuck with 5 gal keg of pure foam? Any advise would be great! thanks all!:mug:

when i "roll-carb", i cool it overnight in the kegerator, then roll it off and on for about half an hour at 20 psi (since the keg is cold). works so great i'm drinking an ipa i did that to a couple hours ago. you should take that keg off the co2, then pour it with the co2 not connected until it gets better

So after letting out some foam with no gas attached it is running better and i was able to get some drinkable beer... so when the pressure has dropped to where it won't pour any more should I be safe to reconnect the gas at ~10PSI for serving again?
